Perhaps I need to clarify something [see last post] I did not mean that because Harper won that politics has gone to the dogs... it was already that way. So I was raised conservation, my uncle is a big supporter to the point that when my other uncle married a liberal they stopped talking. Family reunions are interesting as they split right down the middle. Conservatives on one side of the beach and liberals on the other. Nice, eh? Oune aunt goes so far as to wear blue and white to the polling station.... Bill Casey my MP, is a family friend.... and my sister had his posters everywhere as a child. still has one on her wall.
The solution? Pray for the prime minister/president no matter what party they are. Its Biblical (2 Tim 2:1ff... hey it also talks about holiness too)
If you are american, sorry... but then again Martin tried to slam Harper by saying he was Bush's new best friend.

I watched the election results even though i'm american. I think it's good that canada has multiple parties instead of just 2 huge ones.
good point heidi :) also: glad to see that at least one current bbc-er cared about the canadian election too.
