Waiting on Customer. Communicating. Sending. Receiving. Analyzing. Printing.

All that just to use the debit machine at Dairy Queen. At least that's what I see from the side of the counter called employee. Happy Canada Day!

So my life in the last few weeks. I got a job at DQ. I was hired two weeks ago and worked 26 hours that week and like 25 last week. Then I quit. Don't worry I gave a weeks notice. Tomorrow I start at Fabricville. God is so amazing! Its closer and better hours, no working to midnight! Plus its closer to "tent making."

It may not be the best pay, but I am trusting in God. Its interesting how God teaches us. My lesson for children's church today was from Matthew 6:25-34. It really hit me when I read the passage in The Message. In particular the first bit that says:

"If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds..."

As a side note its weird being called "Pastor Heidi."
See you all at Beulah-
