Finishing
Today I finished:-reading my One Year Bible (started over a year ago)
-knitting a scarf (started close to two years ago)
-burning pictures onto CDs (should have been done last May)
-reading Soul Space by Jerome Daley (started last August)
Too often I settle for mediocrity and unfinished long-drawn-out projects, and it not only effects me but others. And since Jesus Christ has finished it all, I rest in the assurance that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil 4:13). And that He who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it (Phil 1:6).
and so I leave you with a thought,
"Dissatisfaction, then, either causes us to lower our expectations to something more manageable, something available to us right now, or it motivates us to reach." (p. 194 Soul Space)
just what i decide to place on a computer screen from life . . . so that my friends may get to interact with the real me .. . or at least who I perceive me to be . .. .
